Sales Structure

Our Allan S. Goodman team includes a two-division sales force of 30 Sales Representatives, 5 Sales Managers, a Fine Wine Specialist, a Craft Spirits Specialist, and 3 Marketing Managers who oversee pricing and promotional activity.  We pride ourselves on being connected to our customers with an objective of helping our customers sell through to their consumers.  Our two-division structure provides resources to include two Sales Representatives calling on each off-premise account.  This allows each customer to benefit from additional attention, in-store merchandising and tastings, and “another set of eyes” to help build business.  The entire team at Allan S. Goodman is held to high standards for sales and merchandising execution as the core of our results-oriented sales environment.

Our Sales Representatives utilize iPads with several software platforms as described below:

  • Inventiv (Pocket Advantage) is the main tool for order entry, pricing, sales history, and inventory.  Orders are transmitted via wireless for next-day delivery.
  • Diver is used for sales analysis, goal and contest tracking, and general planning.
  • OnTrak allows Sales Representatives to input and track all graphic requests.  A “Point of Sale” module is used to view, book, and track all merchandising and point of sale material.  An additional module has been customized to book and track all tasting activity.

Our fully-integrated selling and sales support system leverages the benefits of a structured and directed Sales Force, Fine Wine and Craft Spirits Specialization, Graphic Design, Merchandising, and Tasting programs with technology solutions to seamlessly integrate and execute these resources as a comprehensive tool-set to help our brand building efforts.
